- We are doing a “Critical Thinking” unit on choosing how to best use a forest. On the tour we could see consequences of actual decisions of land use in the harbour.
- Well organized. Lots of helpful and friendly assistance. Kids get a lot from the field trip.

- We’ve talked, we’ve mapped, but it’s wonderful to be on the water ‘looking back’.
- We’re studying our community in the past so Moodyville, and the mills, trains and lumber tied in beautifully. Visually compare today’s waterfront with the past.
- It exceeded out expectations. We are all very impressed with the level of organization, and professionalism of everyone involved. Everyone was helpful and the tour itself was informative – we loved the running commentary.
- If I knew long enough in advance I would build a very strong social studies unit around this theme with the boat trip as a finale.
